Find fresh local produce and other handcrafted items at the Worthington Farmers Markets. The Downtown Worthington Farmers Market runs June through October on Tuesdays from 4 to 7 p.m. in the former Campbell Soup parking lot on Tenth Street. Many vendors with lots of items to choose from: tomatoes, potatoes, cucumbers, hot peppers, melons, squash, sweet corn, bedding plants, raspberries, large selection of ethnic produce, fresh baked goods and handmade crafts. After you finish shopping at the farmers market, visit Worthington’s downtown businesses that are open until 7 p.m. on Tuesdays. On Saturdays the local farmers market runs from 6:30 a.m. to noon at the Ace Hardware parking lot on Oxford Street. The Saturday market runs July-October. Don’t miss your chance to buy locally grown food at the Worthington markets.
